Workshop Products: What we Shared
Here's a (so-far) unedited list of examples of the Five Principles at work in team projects. (It's a big file--but no fear. We'll edit it after the last workshop!)
Examples of the Five Principles of Learning Libraries from our Project Presentations May21.doc
Here's a chart summarizing team progress, with some highlights of the principles used:

Ideas for Sharing the Five Principles Back Home
- Include in staff handbook and training checklists
- Share information at branch staff meetings, focusing on the benefits (WIIFM)
- Share information with other teams and groups we participate in--other teams, management groups, etc.
- Use the language in coaching sessions with staff, or just in talking
- Teach some of the principles in a fun way at library's Staff Day or other training meeting. It's OK to use the exercises from the Fall Two-Day workshops--the info about them is on the wiki.
- System is already providing training on the principles--so we need to link our project to the principles to help others see the relationship
- Use the terms informally, and link them to improved performance
- Use the Plus-Delta technique whenever it seems appropriate
- Recognize the principles when you see others using them, and name them!
- Share info on the staff intranet
